Also called geosesarma dennerle, the vampire crab is a small, very colorful, semi-terrestrial species. They are native to Java, Indonesia, and they usually find a home in forest areas near streams, rivers, and ponds. They spend the majority of their time on land but spend some time in freshwater. Males are usually bigger than females and have much bigger claws than females. In nature, they feed on leaf litter and vegetation, but when kept as a pet, they don't typically eat healthy plants and will instead pick dead leaves off and keep them clean. If you do want one as a pet, they need lots of decor for cover (especially when they are molting). While they are a communal species amongst each other, they can be very aggressive with other species of crabs. Also if you want to have your own, you need to watch that they cannot escape, for they are known to be very skilled climbers.

5/17/21-Jewel Caterpillar

The jewel caterpillars are also known as the dalceridae and slug caterpillars. What gives them the “jewel“ look is the gelatinous mass that covers their exoskeleton. Said gelatinous mass is sticky, and although they are not poisonous, it can protect them from being attacked. Not much is known about them, sorry guys :|
